Terms of Service
Last updated: (pending finalization)
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using YourTime (the "Service"), operated by YourTime LLC ("YourTime", "we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a binding contract to use the Service. YourTime is currently available in the United States only.
3. Account Registration
You agree to provide accurate information, to keep it current, and to maintain the security of your account credentials. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
4. The Service
YourTime is a peer-to-peer platform for arranging meetups between users with optional stake escrow. YourTime is not a party to any meetup, transaction, or relationship between users.
5. Stake Escrow and Payments
Stake escrow uses Stripe as the payment processor. By using the Service, you also agree to Stripe's Connected Account Agreement, Stripe's Privacy Policy, and Stripe's Services Agreement. Stake amounts are placed on hold via authorization until the meetup is finalized; capture, release, or refund follows the rules described in-app.
6. User Conduct
You agree not to use the Service to harass, deceive, defraud, or harm other users. YourTime may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law.
7. Identity Verification
Certain Service features require identity verification through Stripe Identity. Verification is voluntary unless explicitly required; verified status unlocks higher stake limits as described in-app.
8. Disputes
Disputes between users about meetups, no-shows, or stake outcomes are resolved per the dispute process described in-app. YourTime reserves final decision authority on disputes affecting funds held in escrow.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. YourTime is not responsible for the conduct of users, the safety of meetups, or the accuracy of user-provided information.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, YourTime's total liability to you for any claims arising out of or related to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) one hundred U.S. dollars ($100) or (b) the total amount of fees you paid to YourTime in the twelve months preceding the claim.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
12. Changes
We may revise these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the app. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
